Hi, I'm Johanna ~
I'm happy you're here! I've been exploring the holistic health world for about 20 years now, and I know it can sometimes be a confusing place to be. There's so much information out there, and all we want is to be well. I'm here to try to help navigate through some of that. I have a decent amount of studying, observation, clinical hands-on practice, and professional experience under my belt in regards to Ayurveda, yoga, holistic nutrition, psychology, meditation, and energy work. I've been curious about natural ways to heal the body almost my entire life, with a past revolving around playing sports, exercising, finding different ways to nourish and move my body, exploring spirituality, enjoying life, and navigating some hardships too. I know what it's like to be lost or frustrated about how you feel physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually, and I want nothing more than to listen to you and provide a safe space for you to heal. I love when people are happy and feeling well, because that makes the world so much better all around. Brooke
I was lucky enough to find yoga at a really young age, I was at summer camp and my friend convinced me to try a class, since a
"nap" was promised at the end of class. Even though I couldn't do many of the postures, I was mesmerized with the class, and as it came to an end and the teacher guided us into the final resting posture of savasana and my life had changed. Before that in my life, I had never slowed down long enough to really check in with myself, to take awareness of my mind and body. It became the most important nap of my whole life, and all these years later, yoga is still at the center of my life. I love sharing this gift with others in teaching classes that help to deepen your relationship with yourself, offer a chance to move your body and connect with your mind/spirit. I love to foster a fun and playful environment where you can explore different poses and have time to play, while growing your own practice.
